We are a family of seven living in North Florida, homeschooling, homesteading, homechurching. Our imperfect lives are full of mistakes and laughter, and lots of friends and family. In September 2025, our family experienced some of the most life-altering news we have ever encountered: my husband was diagnosed with ALS (also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease). We have felt an overwhelming sense of God’s care and provision, as well as His people’s love and prayers, and I wanted to write out our experience as a testimony to His goodness, as well as a way to keep everyone abreast of our current situation.
